What is Maios?
Maios is a personal knowledge app — a second brain. You keep notes, files, voice memos and chats in one place; Maios links them into a live graph and gives you an AI assistant that searches, remembers and answers from your own notes. It runs in the browser and installs on your phone like an app.
Who is it for?
Students, researchers, writers, founders — anyone whose ideas are scattered across apps, tabs and notebooks, and who wants an AI that makes them sharper instead of thinking for them.
How much does it cost?
Three monthly plans in US dollars: Explorer $4, Thinker $20 and Architect $69. Payments go through Stripe, and you can cancel any time.
Will my notes be used to train an AI model?
No. Maios does not train AI models on your notes, and does not sell or hand them to anyone for training. When you use an AI feature, the text it needs is sent to Google’s Gemini model to produce the answer — our privacy policy names that and every other service that touches your data. Switch AI features off in Settings and nothing is sent to a model.
Who can see my notes?
You. Every table that holds your notes is private to your account. A short list of services process data so features work — the privacy policy names each one and exactly what it receives. Nothing is used for advertising.
Can I export or delete everything?
Yes. Settings → Advanced → Your data downloads one file with the full text of every note, its links, your maps, memory and settings. Deleting your account is immediate and irreversible; only Stripe’s own payment records remain, as the law requires.
How do I get in?
Maios opens a few seats at a time. Join the waitlist with your email; when a seat frees up we send you an invite code. Enter it on this page or on the sign-up page to create your account.
Does it work with the tools I already use?
Yes. Maios has an MCP server, a REST API and webhooks, so assistants like Claude or ChatGPT and your own scripts can search and write your notes with a key you control. You can also import a folder of Markdown notes.
